Our Cause
The Randy Rainey Scholarship Fund, Inc. has been set up by a group of Randy’s friends to establish an endowment at the University of Delaware in his honor. Once fully funded, an annual scholarship will be awarded in perpetuity to deserving students at Randy's alma mater. The fund is a fully recognized 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization, so your donations will be tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. 100% of all proceeds benefit the fund.
Our Events
In addition to loving his family, Randy loved to play cards, golf and enjoy a few beers, so what better way to honor his memory and help achieve our funds' goals than to keep the games going. Please plan on joining us for our annual Happy Hour! Friday, May 10th, 2024 at the Fairfax Tavern (5 Murphy Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803). From 6 to 8 pm we will be Having Pizza and Beer Happy Hours including 9 various domestic beers (and wine if you ask nicely....)
